Tennis Court Are Busy

We want to give our children priority
Our tennis courts are very busy each weekend. For some of our parents and students it is very difficult to find time on the court to play a game. Please be aware of the NEW PROTOCOLS We want our students to have first priority at all times to play on the tennis courts. As a school community, we want to make sure our children’s free time is utilized efficiently and with purpose.

Jr. Coed Soccer Team Shows Grit and Determination

Congratulations to the Jr. Coed soccer team on the hard fought 7-7 draw against the Italian School. We outplayed a bigger team for the entire game, conceding goals due to error rather than being outplayed. We played as a team and even though we were 7-4 down with less than 10 minutes to go, we kept our heads up and scored 3 unanswered goals to tie the game up. Well done. Nathan scored 4 of the 7 goals!! Special kudos to Bigani, Jasper, Diji, and Victor for your hard work. A great team effort, we are all very proud of you!!

ICS Team Spirit!

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls basketball team for being voted the most sportswoman-like team for the tournament (see the trophy in the front reception area)! ICS takes this award very seriously and we our very proud of our girls. I would also like to say congratulations to both ICS basketball teams for their great team spirit before, during and after the ISSEA tournament in Zimbabwe!

3rd Place for the Girls at ISSEA

After losing our starting center within three hours of landing in Harare, Zimbabwe and struggling with games in the Thursday and Friday round robin portion of the tournament, we placed 5th out of 6. The Varsity Girls pulled themselves together and fought hard every moment to make it to the semi-finals. We weren't able to contain the ISK Lions in the second half as we  had done in the first and ultimately lost a very competitive game. Playing for 3rd place against South Africa, the girls made sure the 'other' Eagles' knew what hustle and hard work can do!

Varsity Boys Basketball

The boys produced a great collective effort on Friday to overcome the persistence of a worthy Bingham team. We eventually took the game by 41 - 28 with our whole bench running at an admirable level of commitment. Once again, congratulations to all the players for a well-earned victory. GO EAGLES! -Coaches Hiest & Renzi
