Welcome from HS Principal

It is my pleasure to welcome you to high school at ICS Addis. The four years from grades 9-12 are important not only academically, but also in terms of personal, social, and ethical development. At ICS, we aim to equip students with skills and experiences that will enable them to be successful learners in their universities and careers, resilient and creative global citizens, and thoughtful members of their communities.

High School Summer Homework

ICS summer homework assignments are given in the context of our international community. We recognize the need to achieve a balance between a demanding academic curriculum and the diverse needs of families and individuals over the summer. “Getting away from it all” is good for all of us, and we encourage all members of our community to find time for recreation, renewal, and relaxation after a busy school year.

Message from the Principal—Joyce Halsey

As we conclude a highly successful year in the ICS high school, I would like to thank each student and parent for your enthusiasm and efforts. We have accomplished a lot as individuals and collectively, and focusing on learning has helped us all work together productively. A special thank you to members of the Student Council and the ICS Honor Society, two student leadership groups who made real contributions to our school.
