What's Out Muzika Festival: 23-29 November

A music festival that celebrates top musicians from Ethiopia, France, Germany and the world. Events in Addis include:

Solo Sundown Concert with Volker Schlott: Thursday 25 November, 8:00 PM, Alliance Francaise
Akale Wube: Friday 26 November, 7:30 PM, Goethe-Institut
 

German Church Christmas Bazaar

Come experience German Christmas culture and tradition! On Sunday 28 November, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the German Church will be selling German food (including bratwurst, draught beer and desserts), with many Christmas crafts and gifts for sale. Entrance fee: 20 birr/person, 30 birr/family.
 

5th Iberoamerican Film Festival, 8-13 November at Edna Mall

Thanksgiving at Local Restaurants

Come to Serenade for a Thanksgiving buffet! Roast turkey, pies and more, at 7:30 PM on 25 November; 263 birr/person, inclusive of VAT. Reservations needed, as it will fill up quickly.

Le Grand Reve is offering a special Thanksgiving menu, including turkey and pecan pie. Make reservations early! 225 birr/person, excluding VAT and service charge.

Abyssinie Swing

A 26-minute documentary, based on a selection of musical archives from Ethiopian TV, compiled by Francis Falceto and Anais Prosaic. Falceto will be present during the screening and a question and answer session afterward. Wednesday 10 November at 6:30 PM at the Alliance Gallery; free entrance; in French with simultaneous English translation.

Artisans Bazaar: 20-21 November

The Artisans Bazaar features over 100 artists and groups, with unique arts and crafts works on sale. The Bazaar will take place on 20 and 21 November, from 10 AM to 5 PM, in the Floral Tropical Gardens, off Bole Road. Entrance fee is 15 birr.
