Parent and Student Portal

Welcome!

OPEN FOR HS STUDENTS AND FAMILIES ONLY.  MS AND ES WILL OPEN SOON.

In an effort to facilitate better communication between parents, students and teachers, ICS High School is moving to an online Parent and Student Portal where you will be able see up to date information on your student’s achievement, attendance, assignments, grades and semester report cards.

It is our intention that this information, available at all times, will serve as the basis of conversations among students, parents, and teachers that will lead to improved learning performance, deeper understanding of learning, and student ownership of their learning.

Why are we doing this?

“When teaching and learning are “visible” – that is, when it is clear what teachers are teaching and what students are learning, student achievement increases” (John Hattie).  It is our intention that this information, available at all times, will serve as the basis of conversations among students, parents, and teachers that will lead to improved learning performance, deeper understanding of learning, and student ownership of their learning.
