Sophia Manekuleh

Student Support Center

My name is Sophia Manekuleh, and this is my third year working as a teaching assistant in the Student Support Centre at ICS. Prior to working in the Student Support Center, I worked as a one-to-one assistant for 6 months in the third and fifth grades at ICS.

I graduated with a Bachelors of Applied Science Degree from the University of Guelph, Canada, in 2007. I am now working on a Master’s of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies from the State University of Buffalo, New York (SUNY).

I love working at ICS because it reminds me of my childhood, which was spent in the international schools of various countries. I loved going to school with a multicultural student body, as it allowed me to appreciate and enjoy the various languages and cultures that surround us. I am very excited to be working with your children this year, and I know that I will be learning as much from them as they will from me!

I cherish spending time with my family and friends (who are scattered all over the world), playing with my multicoloured dog, and reading.
