ES Teaching Assistant

This is my fourth year working at ICS as a Teaching Assistant, though I have been teaching for ten years. Most of my teaching career has been spent in Early Childhood. I have a BA in Mathematics and Computer Programming. I have taken a number of courses over the years regarding Teacher Development, some of which were offered by the HornBy School. I am currently working on my Masters Degree in education through ICS's SUNY (State University of New York) program. Prior to joining ICS, I have been a principal for a local private school. I was involved in Teachers’ Development by Radio - both as a producer and editor. I was also involved in developing educational materials that would help English teachers in Ethiopia. I have also given teaching workshops in local Ethiopian schools. 

Besides teaching, I love traveling. I also treasure spending time with my husband, Dan.

I am looking forward to the coming school year and am very excited about taking part in the overall growth of your child!
