HS/IB Chemistry

This will be my 3rd year at the International School of Addis Ababa and I am very excited to be back. I will again be teaching HS and IB chemistry.

Before coming to ICS, I lived and worked all around the world. I grew up in the UK and earned both my Bsc (Hons) in Applied Chemistry and my Post Graduate teaching degree at Kingston University. Since my first teaching job in the UK, I have also taught in Kuwait, Dubai, Peru and New Zealand, learning much from each experience, both professionally and personally.

This year I will be completing my Masters degree with the ICS SUNY Masters program as well as learning more about living and working in Addis Ababa.
I am very pleased to be given the opportunity of continuing to work with my grade 10 students from last year, since I will be a grade 11 advisor this year. I believe my role as advisor to be a privilege and I will do my best to help students in all aspects of their life at ICS.

When not at school, I love to go out and explore Addis Ababa. Apart from that I love to read, cook and travel beyond the city whenever I get the chance. One of my favourite memories from last year was the grade 10 class trip to Lalibela and Gonder.

I am looking forward to another fantastic year. We can do it!
