Mariah Mohammed
One to One Teaching Assistant
Hello everyone!
My name is Mariah Mohammed. I come from Ethiopia. This is my first year working at ICS. My educational background is as follows: I have a Bachelor of Arts, Global Studies and International Relations from New Generation University College; I have a Certificate in Statistical Programming for Social Studies from AddisAbaba University; and, currently, I am a third-year student in the Law program at AddisAbaba University. In addition to this, I have participated in different conferences, seminars and workshops given by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Management for Health (MSH) and the United Nations World Food Program (WFP). These seminars and workshops included: Basic Community Mobilization and Behavioral Change Communication for HIV/AIDS Care and Support, Community Mobilization Training of Trainers and Data Collection Instruments.
During the time I have been employed at ICS, I have been working as a one-on-one assistant and as a substitute classroom teaching assistant. Prior to my this I was a volunteer worker at Save the Children.
My hobbies are doing gymnastics, watching documentary movies and reading non-fiction books.
