Lemlem Woldie

Grade 5 Teaching Assistant

My name is Lemlem Wolde. I was born in Addis and raised in Dire Dawa. I am a product of Catholic Schools, right from Elementary to the University level. I pursued my first degree in English Language from Catholic University Nairobi in Kenya and attained my masters degree in English Language from Addis Ababa University. I also have a diploma in French from Alliance Francaise Nairobi.

Prior coming to ICS I have been teaching in different private schools and colleges. I’ve worked as a head of language department, Literature club, editor. I’ve also taught Sophomore English at Addis Ababa University to students who are majoring in Economics and Management.

I enjoy a variety of mindful activities. In sports, I play soccer, basket ball, table tennis, swimming. At one point in my life I was a competitor and candidate for national swimming team. I have a great passion for music. I play a couple of different instruments including Box guitar and Piano. Meditation is another mindful activity that I use as a way to stay balanced and in touch with my divine self. I am excited to be a part of the vibrant ICS community. I look forward to my first year with the cosmopolitan staff and students at ICS.
