Jeremy Manger

I moved here last summer with my wife, Amanda (who teaches EC-4) and our son, Jake (who turned 2 in June).  We had a wonderful first year here, and feel at home for our second year.  Previously, we lived in Portland, Oregon in the United States, where I taught 3 years as the special education teacher for Kindergarten through 5th grade. Before moving to Portland, I earned my Masters of Science in General and Special Education at Bank Street College of Education in New York City, where I coincidentally met my wife. I taught as a classroom teacher in Kindergarten and second grade in Brooklyn, New York for several years. While teaching in New York, I attended the Columbia University Teacher’s College Reading and Writing Institute and worked with a staff developer in my classroom.  Since then I have returned to Teacher’s College for further training in literacy.  I look forward to my second year and welcome you to drop in any time.
