IB Coordinator, HS English, TOK

Greetings! I am thrilled to be at ICS, where I am the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program Coordinator. In addition to coordinating the IBDP, I teach English and Theory of Knowledge. This is my sixteenth year in international education. Previously, I’ve taught in Canada, Kenya, China, and Oman. I have two undergaduate degrees (B.A., B. Ed.) from Dalhousie University in Canada and an M.A. from Michigan State University in the United States.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, exploring new countries, cultures, and cuisines, tryng to stay fit, and spending time in the outdoors. I love to go hiking, cycling, kayaking, camping. When I’m really lucky, I get to go fishing.

I am married to Martha Langille, who is the Librarian at ICS. We have two children, Maeve, in grade 7, and Sophie, in grade 6. We are delighted to be living in Ethiopia, to serve the school, and to be a part of the ICS community.
