My name is Birknesh Mamo Gebre. I have been at ICS since 1986. I worked in KG, 1st, 2nd, 4th and the elementary library as a teaching assistant. This school year I am working in the Student Support Center (SSC).

I have Bachelors of Education from St. Mary University College and A Red Seal Certificate from the London Montessori Teacher’s Training College in Early Childhood. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree program from the States University of Buffalo, New York.

I believe that if students are secure socially, emotionally and academically, then they will be responsible and positive contributors of society.

I believe in differentiating instruction in order to accommodate the needs of learning styles, unique abilities and interests of children.
