IT Specialist, Webmaster and Assistant to Registrar

This year marks the beginning of my fifth year at ICS. I joined ICS as a Receptionist and worked my way to IT Specialist and  Assistant to the Admissions Coordinator, Jessica Fortin. I enjoy working with Jess as I have learnt a lot from her. In the IT part, I handle the website content management and wireless configurations, among other things. I enjoyed working here as it helps me to acquire a lot of experience while working within a multicultural environment. 

I graduated from Addis Ababa University in August 2006 with BSc on Information Systems. I worked with GTZ on a contract-based job prior to coming here.

I excercise every other day, most of the time. In my free time, I love to travel around Ethiopia and explore the beauty of mother nature. I have been to Geshen Mariam, Gondar, Bahir Dar, Sof Omor Cave and Bale Mountains in the past years. The picture on the left shows a view somewhere in Sof Omor Cave. I plan to go to Lalibela and Axum this year. I also love spending time hanging out with my friends and work colleagues.
