Hello, I am Alex Lancia. I have the proud distinction of being an ICS alum, teacher, parent, and spouse. I have a BA degree from Duke University, hold a Pre-K through grade 6 Elementary Education license, and am currently pursuing a Masters in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) from George Mason University.

This year I am teaching Early Childhood Education and look forward to putting into practice some of the new teaching pedagogy that I have acquired during my recent professional development.

When not teaching I enjoy spending time in the outdoors with my family, playing and coaching tennis, and planning my round the world sailing adventure.
