Community Time

This week during community time, students participated in an assembly led by some of our grade 7 students. Ms. O'Hare's advisory presented this assembly around the theme of the Learner Profile trait, Knowledgeable. Students were also entertained and wowed by our 5th grade marimba players. Well done to all our students who participated and contributed to this assembly!

Reflecting and Finishing Strong

As we approach the end of the year, it's important for students to take the time to reflect and think about their goals. Please take some time this week to review your child's action steps toward improving their effort this year. Ask them questions about these action steps and celebrate their efforts to grow in their learning this year. It is also a good time to think about what needs to be done to finish the year 'strong'.  Please encourage your child to attend study hall, ask for that extra help when they need it and put their best effort forward until the very end of the year.

End of Year Reminders

Please remind your child that library books and classroom materials are due at the end of the year. Students will also be turning in their laptops and are encouraged to begin backing up their files in another location in order to preserve their work.
