How To Make An Origami Heart

Origami is a simple art that has to do with folding paper. It orginated in Japan and today there are thousands of ways to make origami. For example, you can make origami animals. But for this article I will be showing you how to make an origami heart.

step 1:

First and most important, you need a peice of paper. It should be square; if you don't have a square paper, then get an A4 paper and fold it to the last, then cut out the excess paper.

Tip: Make sure to cut it straight so your heart won't be messed up.

step 2: Fold the tip of the paper in half, you should have a triangle, then fold the 2 tips of the triangle upwards to the top, after all that you should have a diamond.

step 3: Then fold the 2 flaps along with the single flap down, it should look like the picture below.

step 4: This is the tricky part. Then take the 2 flaps and put a finger inside then flatten them, there should be a mini diamond, then flip one part up. do it with the other side.

step 5: Then finish the heart by folding the tips or cutting it off. Your heart should look like the picture below.
