MS Students Serve Community on International Day

International day is not just about sharing each others culture but giving back to the comunity. This 2009 International Day is the second year ICS has done community service on international day.

Each grade did a project that could help the local or the school comunity. Projects ranged from English learning DVDs for Ethiopians to awarness power points.

Middle School teacher Ms. Sitara says that the projects send a message that community service is a good helpful thing to do that even the elementary students can understand. "I think it would be in all of our best interest to continue this tradition and help the comunity," she added.
