ICS Eagles' Update

ICS Sports Season Review 

With the school year coming to an end there are many things that can be reflected on. Here are some comments made by ICS Athletes about what they thought about the sports at ICS in 2007/2008.

This year's ISSEA soccer and volleyball tournament will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa. It will start October 31 and end November 3. Our girls will be defending their volleyball title and the boys will be looking to improve on their status of second place in soccer. They will also be looking forward to improving their respective fourth place positions in soccer and volleyball. The following students are representing our school in the upcoming ISSEA tournament.

On Tuesday Oct. 9, there was a JV basketball match between ICS and the Italian School. The match began with a slow start but picked up with the Italian school leading in the first quarter. The hosts made a reply with a substitute, Alfred, getting fouled and converting 1 of the 2 free shots. The Eagles continued to show skill but failed to put up too many points on the scoreboard. The game ended in a 40-11 victory for the Italian school. Although they didn't emerge as victors, the Eagles should be commended for the fighting spirit they put up during the loss.

Here are the upcoming matches to be played on the 12^th of January, 2008 for the Barclays Premier League.
