Internship Program at ICS Addis

Monday, April 4, 2016

G11 students at ICS had a great week of internships at different institutions. The ICS Internship Program consists of one week (approximately forty hours) of guided experiential learning under the guidance of a mentor in an environment beyond the school campus. As an IB World School, ICS believes that valuable learning opportunities exist in non-academic endeavors such as those to be found in work, volunteer, and community service experiences.

The ICS Internship Program is designed to benefit ICS students, enabling them to meet graduation requirements as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) requirements through successful completion of the Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) component.

ICS Internships offer the kind of real-world work experiences that challenge students and provide mentors the opportunity to participate in the education of youths in our community.
