High School Principal, David Redmond
Dear Parents, Below please find important information on current and upcoming events in the High School.
High School Assembly, 16 December 2016
We will hold our final assembly of the semester this Friday. At our Assembly, we will bid farewell to departing students and present a selection of videos to send everyone off for a well-deserved break.
Second Semester Schedules
Schedules for second semester courses for Grade 9 and 10 students will be distributed in Advisory on 8 December 2016. Students who wish to change elective courses schedule time with their counselor through the Counselling Office by Thursday December 15, 2016. After that time, applications to change elective courses may be made from the end of the school day on Tuesday, 10 January until 13 Thursday January 2017. All requests to change courses must be made through the Counselling Office and require an appointment with the counsellor.
Please note that first semester reports will be sent out by email on 20 December. If parents would like a hard copy of the report, they should contact Ms. Tigsit Kassa in the High School office to arrange for printing and pick up after 20 December. Office hours during the break are 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. On 9 January, high school students will receive a hard copy of their report during advisory in order for them to reflect on their effort goals.
Students may obtain a copy of their school photographs for free. If you or your child would like to have a school photo as a JPEG, please bring a USB drive to the high school office and we will gladly give you a copy of the file!
9 January 2017
9 January is an 8-period day and students will meet in High School Assembly at 8:00 AM. Following this, they will meet with their Advisors to receive schedules and any new information to begin the second semester.
