ICS High School Final Exams and Grades

Final exams have finished and students were made aware of their results on Wednesday. Final grades will be included in the Semester Two reports, which will be sent home via email. If you have questions or concerns about final reports, please do contact the High School Office.

ICS High School Service Day

Today, June 9, all of our students from Grade 8 through 11 are participating in daylong service projects. Some of these are taking place on campus while others are at various locations around the city, working with groups and organizations such as Our Father’s Kitchen, Sele Enat Orphanage, and local schools. Community service is an important part of our ethos here at ICS, and we appreciate these opportunities to learn through giving of ourselves for others. Many thanks to Ms. Tash McCarroll for organizing this massive event.

ICS High School Last Day of School

During the last day of school we will celebrate those students who have achieved Academic Honors at our final High School Assembly. We will notify parents of these awards so that you can expect to see your children bring them home. After our Awards and Farewell Ceremonies, students will be dismissed for the summer. Dismissal for all students is at 11:30 am.

Farewell for the Summer

As another year draws to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of the ICS community for your steadfast support of learning, in all its forms. We are proud of our students and of the positive relationships we enjoy with families and colleagues. Working in partnership with you this year has been a pleasure. I wish you the very best for the holidays and look forward to seeing you upon our return in August. To those of you who are leaving ICS, my best wishes for safe travels as you embark on this next stage of your careers. And to students, I hope you will find the time to relax, to have fun, and to read something for pleasure over the summer. Best wishes to all.

Please continue to read the weekly Yezare Samint for important information regarding our high school program, and please don’t hesitate to contact me  for any matter pertaining to your child’s education.
