Athletics and Activities News
Athletics and Activities Director, Mick Cooper
This is now the third week of season one and ASAs are well into their rhythm. Now that we have been through a full two week rotation, unfortunately we are not able to take students from the wait list for ASAs after this.
Please remember that there will be no ASAs next Friday (23 September) due to the noon dismissal for the long weekend break. Also, there will be no soccer or cross country on 24 September morning.
We have our first competitive matches of the year with all four HS volleyball teams opening their seasons against city rivals Bingham Academy this week and U14 Basketball too also to cheer on next week.

We look forward to seeing the community support our young student athletes, particularly in home games. Bingham always bring a fair amount of vocal supporters so please feel welcome to attend and watch some live sport in the gym on Friday and Monday!
All payments and documents should now be with the cashier and the ASA office where possible. We know that for our SA travelers, there may be some delay in acquiring the notarized documents for this destination, but please bring them to us, as soon as you receive them, so we know all is good for your child’s trip.
The fields are still very wet in places and until we have a lot more sun and wind drying them out, they remain off limits for casual use. Thank you for your patience and support in protecting our resources.
Have a great week!
