Another alumnus who is making a splash in the arts scene is Yehdego "Bobby" Abeselom '98, writer, director and producer of the film "13 Months of Sunshine". In Bobby's words: "It’s a film about the life of the diaspora, the allure of coffee and the complications of love while pursuing the American dream." The on-line Ethiopian American Magazine praises the movie, 'A beautiful film, beautifully shot and directed. "13 Months of Sunshine" has set a new standard for Ethiopian films made in the US.' The movie is now playing at the Goethe Institute in Washington, DC.
