Working with children has been my long life passion. For many years, I have worked with children ranging from infants to high school teenagers in many capacities, from informal teaching as a Sunday school teacher to tutoring to being a teacher's assistant, and within the last 8 years as a fully credentialed elementray school teacher. I received my M.A. in Education and teaching credential from the University of Californa, Los Angeles (UCLA- Go Bruins!) Orignally from Ethiopia, I relocated to Addis Ababa 2 years ago after a 25 year absence. This will be my second year at ICS. Previous to accepting this position, I worked in the public school systems of Southern California where I taught first and second grades. In my spare time I love to travel, cook, read and socialize with friends and my husband.
