Greetings,

I'm Bob Vicknair and began working at ICS, for the second time, in the fall of 2005. I teach the secondary computer classes, IB Business & Management SL, and am the IT Coordinator.

My teaching career began in state of Colorado in the USA. There I taught Marketing Education and computer literacy. Prior to going overseas I have taught Algebra, a wide variety of business classes, and Adult Basic Education.

Before coming to Addis Ababa my family and I have lived in Brasilia, Brazil; Yanbu, Saudi Arabia; and Moscow, Russia. We began our overseas careers at ICS in the mid-1990's. At all of these schools I have taught computer literacy from Kg - Grade 12, and have been Technology Coordinator or IT Director.

My bachelor degree in Marketing Education is from Eastern MIchigan University. My masters degree in Education is from Framingham State College. Additionally, I have completed the coursework in Educational Administration from the University of Minnesota.

My family includes my wife Kate, who teaches in the elementary school at ICS, and my two sons who are in the ICS high school.

Our summers are typically spent in our very rural home in the state of Minnesota in the USA.
